What's Your WHY?
I started reading the book “Start With Why” by Simon Sinek and have been totally amazed.
Here’s a short video with Sinek and it’s almost like an excerpt from the book.
People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it.
What’s your WHY?
Help others?
Pay off credit cards or student loans?
Retire your spouse?
Give your family a better life?
Work when you want and from where you want?
Go on vacations?
What’s your WHY?
If you haven’t found a way to achieve your dreams take a look at this and see how we are creating 6-7 figure income earners.

An excellent post Sherry, Once you truly know what your why is, it’s a lot easier to explain why you are doing what you do. As you say, people buy into why you do something, not what you do. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome Keith. Glad you enjoyed the post. Sinek repeats “people don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it” several times in the book. It’s an important concept worth repeating. Thanks for commenting.
Sherry, The whys are so important because they carry us through tasks and the tough times and keep us going when other ask why bother.
Bravo Earl !!! You summed it up nicely. Our “why” gets us though the tough times and our “why” should be big enough to make us cry. Thanks for commenting!
Sherry I love that book and video. SImon Sinek says it so well. We all need a why to get us through the tough times as Earl said. I think we need one to keep us going and down whatever it takes. Thanks for a great share.
You’re welcome Sue. I agree, Simon Sinek says it so well I listen to his video all the time. I love his tone. Earl did sum it up nicely didn’t he? 🙂 Thanks for commenting!
Sherry, great post! If we don’t know our “why,” then how can we ourselves stay motivated? If we don’t know why we’re doing something, we certainly can’t expect others to believe in us or what we’re doing.
Thanks Jenny and thanks for sharing your insight. Our “why” has be big enough to make us cry…We have to know our “Why”. Thanks for commenting!
awesome video you shared, thanks

Your why is important, however you live in the how. It is important to have a purpose, but it is just as important to work out the how.
So true…your how is important as well. In the book “Start With Why” Sinek acually goes through the “how” process as well. Thanks for commenting.
Your why is very important! Start With Why is a must read that is important for your success!
I agree Danny…Start With Why is an amazing book. I listen to several of Simon Sinek’s videos and they are all great. Thanks for commenting.
