What's Your Favorite Classic or Antique Car?
What’s your favorite Classic or Antique Car?
There are several that I really like but my favorite is a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 convertible…(for obviously reasons).
Watch the video below and find out why the 442 is my favorite. Actually the 442 is considered a muscle car.
What does 442 stand for? Just in case you wanted to know (if you took the time to watch the video you probably already know what 442 stands for..ha ha)
Originally, 442 stood for four-barrel carburetor, four-speed transmission, and dual exhaust.
However in 1965, Oldsmobile introduced their new 400 cubic inch engine. So…they wanted to give prospective 442 buyers a choice of automatic or standard transmission.
So, after that 442 now stands for 400 cubic in engine, 4 barrel carburetor, and dual exhaust.

Love to see all of these old cars. Imagine the lives they have touched. Wonder where people traveled in them? Did any of them actually take people beyond their wildest imagination? I bet they did. So glad people are inspired to care and preserve them. Thanks for sharing.
