6 Key Elements Of A Successful Marketing Funnel
Are you looking to create an online successful business so you can enjoy a lifestyle of freedom?
What if you could do it all from your iPad or iPhone…and never have to leave home unless you wanted to?
As long as you have Internet access, the right tools and the right system in place, you can do this.
First of all, I’m going to start off with some key elements you need to have in place for your funnel to be successful.
1. Capture Page – Also called Landing Page or Squeeze Page.
The purpose of the landing page is to persuade a visitor to take action by completing a transaction. This is usually accomplished by asking the visitor to enter their email address and sometimes their name in order to receive the information you are offering.
When the visitor/potential customer enters their email address, you will now have the ability to connect with them further, as long as you have the next step in place.
2. Autoresponder
An autoresponder allows you to keep in touch with everyone who has opted in your Lead Capture Page. Your autoresponder will have pre-written emails and it also allows you to send broadcast emails to your subscribers whenever you want.
I email my list several times a week to keep them updated on what is happening or refer them to a new blog post I have written.
Autoresponders are a key part of your success in your business.
3. Sales Page
The sales page, also known as the thank-you page or bridge, is usually the first page your subscriber/prospects after they opt-in from your Lead Capture Page.
This could be one of your own videos welcoming your new subscriber or it could be a sales page from your company where someone else is actually explaining your product, opportunity, or whatever it is that you are offering.
At the end of the sales page (or video) be sure to have a call to action which sends your subscriber to check out page where they can make a purchase or join your team.
4. Blog
Your blog is your home on the Internet. It is your permanent “real estate” on the internet.
A blog is a place where you can brand yourself, share your knowledge, experiences, and your story. Your blog will help others know, like, and trust you. It is a place where you can share pictures, videos, articles, or write about whatever interests you…whether it’s hobbies, recipes, or your point-of-view.
Always remember to include a capture page that leads to your funnel.
Again, I want to stress how important the previous steps are…capture page (they will enter their email address), autoresponder (place where the email address is stored so you can stay in contact with subscriber)
5. Check Out Page
Obviously a very import page if you have a product to sell. This is where the money is. There are services available that offer check out pages but the best thing to do is be a part of a system that includes a check out page.
This will save you a tremendous amount of time and money. I will also like to point out that’s what thousands of us are doing. It’s easier and more beneficial in the long run to get with a system that has this available.
6. Up-Sell Page
If you have a really good system in place, your up-sell page will direct your new customer to your next offer. This is usually a higher-dollar product than the one they just purchased.
You may have started off with a TripWire (low-end offer) and your goal is to lead them through your system (funnel) to a high ticket offer.
Or if you are offering an opportunity, this could be to the next level of membership.
Here are a few other tips that will help getting your marketing funnel set up to help you make money.
* Domain – If you don’t have a domain it’s a good idea to get one. Godaddy is a great place to do that. One reason you want a domain is have a shorter url. Instead of have a url like http://ipasgiveaway.com/cp3/?id=sherrystarnes&tid= I can have a domain http://ipas.sherrystarnes.com
* Make sure to have social share icons on your blog. This will give everyone the opportunity to connect with you on social media.
* Blogging is about content marketing. Make sure you are giving valuable content on your blog and also while contacting your email subscribers.
