2 High School Basketball Teams Come Together To Give Autistic Player A Night To Remember

A few days ago I wrote a post about “The Maturity Continuum: Explained In “The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey and in that post I shared the 3 levels of maturity:

Dependence, Independence, and Interdependence.

I saw this video from my local TV station (KAIT8.com) and it inspired me and reminded me of the interdependence maturity level….growing with the cooperation of other people.  In other words “Teamwork”.

This video shows how 2 high school basketball teams came together to create a special night for an autistic player on one of the teams.

In “The Law of Success” and “Think and “Grow Rich” both by Napoleon Hill, he talks about becoming successful through the cooperation of other people.

The final scoreboard between the 2 teams in the video showed only one winner.  However, I promise you there were many winners that night.  

Corey Jones was a winner.  His family and friends were winners.  It was a night that will never be forgotten by the Jones family.  Did I mention that the opposing team was in on the action and did what needed to be done to see that Corey would have a night to remember?

Teamwork…..
