5 Tips On Getting Your YouTube Ranked on Google

Many of us shoot videos for fun.  These videos could be of your kids, hilarious family situations, and even the crazy things your pets attempt.

However, if you are promoting your business or have valuable content you are sharing, it is your main goal to get “eyes” on your videos.

Even though there are many tips on getting your YouTube Video ranked on Google and other search engines, here are 5 quick and easy tips to consider.

1. Keyword-Above all it is important that you know your “keywood”.  What is the information you want to expose?  Keywords are very vital in getting a video ranked.  Google has a tool called “Google Keyword Tool” that allows you to search for Keywords that are relevant to your topic.  Your topic is actually your keyword.  You can signup at Google Adwords, go to “tools” at the top of the page and then go to Google Keyword Planner.  Here you can get results that show what people are actually searching for and use these Keywords when shooting the video.  What I mean by that is that you “say” your Keyword in the video.

2. When you get ready to “save” your file, be sure to save the file as your keyword.

3. Put the Keyword in your Title.  This may sound simplified but YouTube actually pick up on the words as well as the audio version.  Yes, YouTube can actually translate what you say.

4. Be sure to put the keyword in your description.  Let your viewers know what your video is about.

5. Tag words are also important.  Be sure that you include your keywords in you tags.

I realize these are very simple steps and I cannot guarantee that they will rank you #1 on Google.  However, I can guarantee that you will give you a better chance when using these simple steps.
