approach will ultimately convert more customers and builds
trust more successfully. This content-focus will prove
more successful in the long-run, making it an effective
strategic approach to use. It is all about getting the
customer to know, like, and trust you.
I found the following definition of Content Marketing:
“Content marketing is a marketing technique
of creating and distributing relevant and
valuable content to attract, acquire, and
engage a clearly defined and understood
target audience – with the objective of driving
profitable customer action.”
Content Marketing is the present –not just the future of
marketing. It should come first before any other marketing
strategy…even before your social media strategy.
Content Marketing is a targeted at a specific audience.
It provides insightful, engaging and interesting written
content with the aim of creating customer loyalty and
increasing opportunities for future business. An effective
content marketing strategy will help a business engage
with its customers, leaving them better informed and
interested to find out more. Again, I repeat…it helps
the customer to know, like, and trust you.
While there are several ways to provide this valuable
content, the best way is with a blog.
