How To Find Your Niche
How to find your niche seems to be a struggle for many.
As an online business entrepreneur, I realize that
one of the key aspects to marketing is finding your
niche. Another term for “niche” is your “target market”.
Even though this sounds like a simple process, many do
not know what they are selling or whom they are selling
to. This can lead to disaster for a person just getting started.
Here are a few questions you should ask yourself when
addressing who your target market is and why they
should buy from you.
1. What are you really selling? Do you have a product or
are you focusing on selling your opportunity?
2. What makes you stand out above other business
opportunities?
3. Are you precise in what you are selling? Can someone
look at your product and have a clear idea of what you are offering?
Another point I would like to make is are “you” clear on
what your “niche” is? If so, how did you determine that?
In determining your “niche” here are a few things you should
consider.
1. What is your passion?
2. What do you enjoy more than anything?
3. Be clear about what you have to offer.
4. Don’t be a jack of all trades or have the
shiny object syndrome.
5. Who do you want to work with?
6. Who wants to work with you and do you share the
same interests?
7. What are your skills?
8. Do you know your strengths and weaknesses?
9. Are you using your talents to the fullest?
With 2013 coming to an end, many of us are looking back
at what the year has brought us…and looking ahead to what
next year will hold.
no matter what type of business you are in or the type of
position you hold. If you arm yourself with the right networking
products and materials you can conquer anything and anyone.
