Dirty Little Marketing Secrets From The Leaders

I recently listened to an Inner Circle Audio (available when you join Empower Network) from the Co-founders and leaders Dave Wood and Dave Sharpe.  The information I received was so valuable I felt it needed to be shared. These are dirty little secrets that can be used in any business.

 

3 very important tips I gained from this training are:

1.  Give More Value Than The Money You Are Paid.

If you give more value, eventually the money you are being paid catches up with the value you are giving.  Always over-deliver on everything people pay for and they will want to keep giving you more money.  If you under-deliver they will not want to keep giving you money.  You have to help people make money and get results.

This particular tip reminded me of a Wealth Principle defined by T. Harv Eker in his book “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” which states

The Law of Income:  You will be paid in direct proportion to the value you deliver according to the marketplace.

2.  Have a product or service to sell without continually giving it away.

While it is good to give stuff away for free, at some point you are going to have to ask them to buy.  One example may be to teach people for free and then let them know they will have to buy this product in order for it to work.  Instruct them to buy.  You will never make amy money if you don’t have a product for them to buy.  It has to be very apparent what you are doing and what you want them to buy.  They need to know upfront that you have something to sell.

3.  It can be done full-time as well as part-time but it takes time.

Even though you can work your business full-time or part-time, it is important to realize that it will take time.  You have to put in some actual work.  Sometimes you take 1 step forward and then 2 steps backward.  Put in extra effort and never, never give-up.  It takes time to develop the skill set needed for marketing.  Being successful and making money is not always easy.  There is no such thing as an EASY BUTTON.

There are 2 important principles that can keep you broke inside your business.
1.  Not creating 100% commissions off the sale
2.  You have to wait for the commission check to come in.
