Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Review -Part 2
In part one of “Secrets of the Million Mind” Eker discusses the process of Manifestation. If you have not read Part 1 of my review, you can do so by clicking here.
The process of manifestation as Eker relates it is…thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to actions, and actions lead to results. Everything begins with your thoughts – which are produced by your mind.
He refers to your mind as nothing but a big filing cabinets where all informations that comes in is labeled and filed in folders to that it’s easy to retrieve to help you survive. When you go to your money file, you decide on your feelings about money. Your decision is based on what you believe is logical and appropriate for you at that time.
Rich people think and act differently about money and wealth that poor and middle-class people do. Wealthy people think about wealth because it comes normal to them to therefore they produce wealth.
In part two of this book, Eker discusses the Wealth Files where he discusses seventeen ways rich people think and act differently from poor and middle-class people. He is very specific in saying he does not believe that rich people are better than poor people. Only that they are richer. He also makes it know that when he is referring to rich, poor, and middle-class people, her is referring to the mentality. Keep these things in mind as we go through the first 5 of these 17 principles.
Wealth File #1
Rich people believe “I create my life”. Poor people believe “Life happens to me.”
The poor people claim to be victims. They blame others, justify their situation, and are complainers.
Wealth File #2
Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose.
Poor people are known to play the money game on defense rather than offense. Rich people have a goal to mvassive wealth and abundance. The goal of poor people is to have enough money to get buy.
Wealth File #3
Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich.
“The number one reason most people don’t get what they what is that they don’t know what they want.” Rich people are committed to having wealth. Poor people send mixed emotions and have good reasons why money may be a problem to them.
Wealth File #4
Rich people think big. Poor people think small.
The Law of Income: You will be paid in direct proportion to the value you deliver according to the marketplace. Value meaning, supply, demand, quality, and quantity.
Wealth File #5
Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles.
Rich people see opportunities and potential growth. The take responsibility for their results in their lives and are determined to “make it work”. Poor people see obstacles and focus on the risks. They have the mindset of “What if it doesn’t work?”
