Now we will begin with principle #3
III ASSEMBLE AN ATTRACTIVE PERSONALITY
1. Positive Mental Attitude – A positive mental attitude
is the most important aspect of any attractive
personality. It is crucial to many of the 17 Principles
of Success.
2. Sincerity of Purpose – Be sincere first of all with
yourself, and you will strengthen ever one of the
other aspects of your pleasing personality.
3. Promptness of Decision – success people reach decision
definitely and quickly.
4. Courtesy – courtesy is nothing more than the habit of
respecting other people’s feelings under all circumstances.
5. Tact – Tact is the habit of doing and saying the right thing
at the right moment.
6. Tone of Voice – Controlling the tone of your voice so that
it easily carries meaning beyond mere words in invaluable.
7. The Habit of Smiling – This simple action is calming and
it’s a reminder of the positive focus you want in your mental
attitude.
8 Facial Expression – Learn to control and be aware of your
facial expressions.
9. Frankness and Manner of Speech – Without true frankness
none of your other skills will be successful.
10. Keen Sense of Humor – Aides you in becoming flexible
and adaptable .
11. Faith in Infinite Intelligence – Faith is woven into every principle
of the philosophy of achievement.
12. A Keen Sense of Justice- Unless you deal justly with others, you
cannot hope either to cultivate an attractive personality or
to succeed in your definite major purpose.
13. The Appropriate Use of Words – Your use of language must
reflect this quality just as astutely as any marketing plan
14. Effective Speech – “Know what you wish to say, say it
with all the feeling you command, and then sit down!”
15. Emotional Control – There are 7 negative emotions and 7
positive emotions.
16. Alertness of Interest – You must be able to fix you interest
on any person, place or thing and hold it there for as
long as the situation requires.
17. Versatility – Keep yourself acquainted with the issues of the
day.
18. Fondness for People – Show an alert interest, tolerance, and
respect for others , and they will instinctively do the same
for you.
19. Humility – Recognize that the blessings you have are a gift
to be used for the common good and not topics for every
conversation.
20. Effective Showmanship – Use the traits of an attractive
Personality to show good showmanship will serve you well.
21. Clean Sportsmanship – Let your manner always be friendly.
22. Good Handshake – Make your grasp firm, and friendly,
not crushing.
23. Personal Magnetism – a nice way to describe sexual
energy. Use your sexual energy to build your
enthusiasm and display a genuine fondness for people.
