Why Being A Network Marketer Is Better Than The Other 5 Job Categories

I have been reading the book “Go Pro” by Eric Worre, and I’m going to share some of his thoughts here.

First of all, all jobs fall into one of five categories:

Blue-Collar

White Collar

Sales

Traditional Business Ownership

Investing

Blue-Collar Careers – According to Wikipedia, the definition of blue collar worker is a member of the working class who performs manual labor.”  It’s someone who labors to fix something, make something, clean something, build something, or service something or someone.

White-Collar Careers – Wikipedia says “ the term white-collar worker refers to a person who performs professional, managerial, administrative work, in contract with the blue-collar worker, whose job requires manual labor.  Usually the white-collar worker works in an office or cubicle.”

It’s someone who is employed by someone else to do work other than manual labor or sales.  Often this is chosen as a career because it is one of the most socially acceptable of the options available.  It is view as the safe and secure option.

Sales – This is a move away from being an employee and getting involved in a sales career.  It’s usually more adventurous because salespeople are paid on their production rather than by the hour.

Traditional Business Ownership – People thrive on being their own boss.  Many times these 4 things happen:
1. They use their life saving, go into debt and borrow money from family and friends.

2.  They take on more set in the form of leases and personal guarantees in just about every direction.

3.  They lose focus and start doing everything except selling.

4.  They start struggling and instead of owning the business, the business owns them.

5.  They either succeed or fail. They decide if they are going to fall forward or fall backward and sometimes this leads to bankruptcy.

Investor – Investors invest.  That takes a lot of money to maintain an sufficient return on your investments to make a living.  It goes without saying that is you want to be a successful investor, you have to increase your knowledge and skills.

After reading the above, you may be asking yourself “isn’t there a better way?”

The answer is YES!  Network Marketing is Better!
